My time managing at BKOM was extremely fulfilling. I took the initiative to grow the team, integrate new efficient processes, and mentor each of my UX and UI designers. I was always involved in all projects from UX/UI direction, collaborating with the team, presenting to clients, user testing, and ensuring high quality intuituve experiences.
PROCESSES
The processes on each project needed structure, so I designed these process flows to guide my UX/UI designers and the project teams on what to do and what to expect from UX/UI in an agile environment.
CONFLUENCE
I created a confluence specifically for our UX/UI team. We used it as the source of knowledge for UX/UI designers for onboarding, courses/training, and to access all resources such as templates, UI inspiration, accessibility checklists, etc.
TEAM HEALTH
Maintaining a healthy and happy team is a priority for me. I introduced Team Health Surveys to BKOM and started with the UX/UI team. I wanted to ensure the UX/UI team felt heard and had frequent opportunities to provide feedback on what we can improve.
JOB MATRIX
My goal was to have consistency of job levels across all departments. I planned recurring meetings with the leads of all the departments aligning the jobs levels and expectations with each. I also planned a brainstorm session with my UX/UI team gathering feedback and information on what their expectations are for each job level.
UI DIRECTION
I provided UX/UI direction and feedback on a variety of projects from mobile to PC to console to interactive experiences.
